Unicorn alert! You don't see many art moderne homes, and while this one wasn't really in the 20's - 40's like most art moderne homes, the exterior styling is on point. The bonus is that you don't have to deal with 20's plumbing and wiring. It does look like the inside could use a good remodel though, but it would be a fun project at that price.

SOL doesn't get as much attention as Agave despite the similarities, but it's got plenty of good stuff despite it's much smaller size. This house is a good example of what SOL has to offer. Smaller than Agave homes and though not really much cheaper, it still looks like a pretty good deal based on it's closer in east Austin location. Also, hats off to the owners of this one for a solid furniture collection. I'd almost forgotten how good that DCM looks.

There are actually two separate duplex's here (4 units total) that are all about the same style, size and price. I'd say any of them would make a nice little place to call home. I haven't been through any of these yet, but it looks like they got the details right, grain matched cabinetry, wood ceilings etc.

Condo life isn't for everyone, but with the high housing prices in Austin these days it can make a lot of sense. The Terrace condo's are one of my favorite mid century condos in Austin. This fully updated unit is just a short stroll from the pool, and will probably cost you less per month than the crappy apartment you are renting now.
