Lets just start off by saying I hate email spam (real SPAM now that's anther story).

With that in mind, when I set out to make my weekly newsletter my goal was to make it the least spammy thing possible, which is saying a lot being a Realtor and all (I'm not that kind of Realtor).

What you can expect to get is a one email a week that includes my 5 favorite modern or mid-century modern homes that are currently for sale in Austin. I round it out with a synopsis of any new content from my blog like local events, food you should be putting in your mouth, shops you should be supporting and even the occasional update on my house and travels. I promise not to be lame, and if you ever want to unsubscribe (you won't) it's super easy. So what are you waiting for, get clicking already.

Never spammy. Sometimes on time.

Thank you!

My favorite thing about modern architecture is when I see something unique and functional. Either is fairly easy to pull off alone, but it’s putting them both together that’s the tricky part. Luckily for the fine folks at

Is modern Tudor the new modern farmhouse? This isn’t the first one I’ve seen pop up lately and I’ve got a feeling it’s not going to be the last either. Personally while I appreciate some of the character, there a

A.D. Stenger is probably one of Austin’s best know mid century modern architects, but despite building nearly 100 homes there just aren’t too many left that haven’t been significantly altered. This 1965 build has had

I continue to be very interested in these 3d printed houses. Certainly the design is compelling, and if they can move the needle on affordability that would be a game changer. This Wimberly adjacent home sure is a deal at just over $20

Let’s be honest, the 90’s were a bit of a black hole for good architecture. That being said, there were the exceptions and this is a great example of timeless design. The architecture looks as relevant as ever and a thoughtful

I love the Brown Building for its historic character. If I lived downtown, it would definitely be in this building. I’ve been through a lot of different floor plans in the building and this is by far my favorite. It looks like th

If you know me, you know I’m a huge fan of all the work A.D. Stenger did back in the day. Of all his nearly 100 homes these A frame inspired ones always have a special spot in my heart. This one built in 1965 would have been some of

Here’s an interesting one. While I do prefer traditional homes in the more historic parts of Hollly (if those even exist any more) this one is still compelling. I really love the interiors on this one, all that DG Fir really helps
