I'll be the first to admit that this house is a little bit quirky. That being said, I think that is one of the most endearing thing about it. It's not just quirky though, the interior has some great spaced defined by vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and I may even spy a slightly sunken living room.

Following on yesterdays A.D. Stenger house comes a similar project. While this home started with a 80's ranch house, it was remodeled and received the addition of a guest apartment. The remodel/addition creates a great interior courtyard and while it appears it was done a few years ago looks great still.

When you are talking about luxury properties there is a certain attention to details that you expect. Unfortunately many don't deliver. This one does. Let me point out just a few of my favorites. First, linear diffusers for the heat / AC vents on the ceiling. They look so much better than the standard ones. Second, marble counter tops and back splashes. Love it. Personally I would have liked to see the refrigerator and dishwasher matched to the cabinetry, but I am a bit of a kitchen snob.
