Following on yesterdays A.D. Stenger house comes a similar project. While this home started with a 80's ranch house, it was remodeled and received the addition of a guest apartment. The remodel/addition creates a great interior courtyard and while it appears it was done a few years ago looks great still.

When you are talking about luxury properties there is a certain attention to details that you expect. Unfortunately many don't deliver. This one does. Let me point out just a few of my favorites. First, linear diffusers for the heat / AC vents on the ceiling. They look so much better than the standard ones. Second, marble counter tops and back splashes. Love it. Personally I would have liked to see the refrigerator and dishwasher matched to the cabinetry, but I am a bit of a kitchen snob.

Ok, I know this isn't modern and maybe it's because I've been spending too much time in Mexico and Morocco the last few years, but I would totally live in this house. The interior would need a total redo of course, but ohh the possibilities...

This is the smaller back house of a detached new construction project, and while both the front house and back are for sale, I actually prefer the architecture and simplicity of the back house. I've been in a similar one with this floor plan, and It's quite well laid out.
