Tis the season of music festivals and art shows! Really this is one of my favorite times of year in Austin. East Austin Studio tour is always a highlight and I'm excited to check out all the great talent in this city. This year I'll be kicking things off attending ARTBASH. Never heard of it? We'll it's about time. This is the second annual event and it looks like it's going to be a good one. I'm particularly excited about the venue as well.

ARTBASH returns in 2016 to the Pershing in east Austin. The event will kick-off the East Austin Studio Tour (EAST) on Friday, November 11th and the venue will then remain open to the public for both weekends of EAST.

Art Alliance’s exhibition and lounge at the Pershing Gallery will be a unique destination for art enthusiasts, artists, galleries, critics, collectors, scene junkies & casual creative class followers. The exhibition will feature many of the Alliance’s partners over the past 2 years (featured at Art City, at Art Breaks, PechaKucha, and last year’s ARTBASH). The exhibition will be open to the public both weekends of EAST and will have additional programs and events, beginning with ARTBASH, Friday November 11th. ARTBASH will layer temporary site-specific installations and performance pieces over the existing exhibition to create dynamic and exciting evening for art and preview of the East Austin Studio Tour.
