2005 Peach Tree

This gem was for sale earlier this summer and now it's back with a $100k price drop. It has a rare to Texas basement that has a nice raw brutalist feel (lots of concrete). Speaking of concrete, those stained floors are the one thing that I don't love, but that's an easy fix.

You don't see a lot of mid century modern homes in East Austin, mostly because the homes here were built earlier, but this one is just far enough east and north to have been built later. While the photos aren't the best, it looks like the remodel that was recently done was. I love a good moody mid century home.

I think this may be my first home I featured in the Mueller development. Not that I'm hating on Mueller, there are some good things about it, just that most homes there aren't modern. This one however is, and it was designed by Michael Hsu to boot. Hard not to love that.

And the high end homes just keep coming. The newly finished construction is apparently priced 1.27 million under appraised value, which means I can't even afford the amount it's been discounted. Not that I could even figure out what to do with 6,000 sq. ft. of space. As you can guess however, I can think of a few things to do by that pool. Margarita anyone?
