This home was originally built in 1960 but since it's recent major remodel and addition it's pretty tough to see any of the original structure left. I suppose that's what happens when you double the size of a house. I don't mean that as a criticism though, the new home is very well done and has some interesting architectural elements to it.

And the high end homes just keep coming. The newly finished construction is apparently priced 1.27 million under appraised value, which means I can't even afford the amount it's been discounted. Not that I could even figure out what to do with 6,000 sq. ft. of space. As you can guess however, I can think of a few things to do by that pool. Margarita anyone?

Yes yes YES! There have been so many good mid century modern homes for sale lately, and the hits just keep coming. This beautiful home was built by the original (and only) owner. There are so many great details I can't even start to point them all out. I'm absolutely head over heels about all the custom millwork (cabinetry) all of which are so beautifully and minimally details. Let's hope this one goes to someone who will love and appreciate it.

It's crazy how many architecturally designed mid century modern homes there are on the market right now. This one was originally designed by Page Southerland Page but since then it's been updated under the direction of Don Crowell and Fern Santini of ABODE. The style is definitely a bit of a departure from mid century modern, but not necessarily in a bad way. Love it? Hate it? Discuss.

2614 Delwood : Arthur Fehr

I shared this house a little over two years ago when it was last for sale. It was eventually taken off the market and I've been keeping my eye on it ever since. Sadly, it's now back on the market and being listed only as a lot, presumably anticipating being torn down. It's a shame too, it was designed in 1951 by Arthur Fehr of Fehr and Granger, and based on the old photos it doesn't look like its in too bad of shape. I'd love to see someone buy this and bring it back to it's original glory. Spread the word!
