I featured this Charles Granger designed home a few years ago, but boy oh boy has it changed since then. While it looks to be in perfect vintage condition now, the kitchen, bathroom etc are all thanks to a new remodel. I’m a bit on the fence, but I think I may have liked it better before.

It was designed in 1979 by Chartier Newton, an Austin based architect that practiced briefly with Arthur Fehr in the 70's after Charles Granger's untimely death. Like Charles Granger he also studied at Cranbrook Academy of Art and worked for Eero Saarinen for a time. This house has a fantastic private outdoor courtyard which the house wraps around. It's seen some updates (for good or bad) and now it just needs a little interior design love.

Read MoreI shared this house a little over two years ago when it was last for sale. It was eventually taken off the market and I've been keeping my eye on it ever since. Sadly, it's now back on the market and being listed only as a lot, presumably anticipating being torn down. It's a shame too, it was designed in 1951 by Arthur Fehr of Fehr and Granger, and based on the old photos it doesn't look like its in too bad of shape. I'd love to see someone buy this and bring it back to it's original glory. Spread the word!
