There is no shortage of duplex infill in east Austin. Unfortunately the majority of them set the bar pretty low both in architectural style and interior finish out. It's with that context that I'm happy to see some of the details on this listing. Sure, they let a little mosaic tile slip into one bathroom, but most of the tile is actually quite good. Also, grain matched cabinets everywhere is a much appreciated detail.

I love a house that isn't afraid to show a little personality. This deep east Austin remodel has some nice elements that liven it up. The bright turquoise concrete screen by the car port might be my favorite thing about it, but those vaulted wood ceilings are pretty great too.
