477 Sage Ridge

This architect designed compound on 6 acres is located just north of Fredricksburg. While it’s a bit hard to get a feel for the spaces in the photos, I love the rural vernacular of the exteriors. It’s got a main house, guest house and two car garage, what more could you ask for?

910 Juniper

This one is all about quality over quantity. I always love seeing grain matched cabinetry, it shows an attention to detail that hopefully can be found in the rest of the house. While the price tag for this one is a bit of a shock considering the size, it is always great to see some original east Austin houses saved from demo.

1908 Airole : A.D. Stenger

Long time readers know there is a lot of history with this particular A.D. Stenger designed and built home. Back in 2015 this house was at risk of being demolished and I delivered over 200 signatures against the demolition to the city council. Luckily the demolition was rejected and the the house still stands. I toured it a few weeks ago and it’s in good shape still, but definitely needs some TLC and likely a tasteful remodel / addition to bring it up to 2019 standards. Who’s ready for a passion project?
