I have to admit in a world of stucco and hardi board modern homes there sure is something refreshing about a brick house. Big shout out to North Arrow Studio for designing a super clean kitchen. I'm a huge fan of not having upper cabinets. That floating shelf integrated into a hood is just about as clean as it gets. If only the integrated fridge would have gotten the same level of detail it would be the perfect kitchen. Yeah, I get weird about those details. :)

I love a good sleeper. From the street you would never guess that there was a dreamy bright open floor plan inside. I love all the light neutral colors and natural stone. They almost resisted the temptation to do a mosaic strip of tile in the bathroom. Almost. No offense meant, but developer please stop. No one wants this.

It's not hard to find a modern home in East Austin. If you are talking about good modern with a good interior it get's a bit tougher. One thing that is almost non existent though is a modern house with a view. The view on this one is amazing, and the house ain't bad either.
