Remember this one from last year? I heard this was coming back on the market a few days before it hit the MLS and I knew it would go quick. They've already received multiple offers and are no longer showing the house, but I thought the current owners did such a good job decorating it that I would share anyway. You can see some photos I took of it last year here.

If you prioritize views and location over lot size, this is probably one of the best deals in Travis Heights right now. Seriously, I can't get over the last photo below. I can definitely imagine myself sipping some champagne on that deck. Oh, and the rest of the house is awesome too.

Just down the road from yesterdays post is the largely under the radar Highland area where gems like this are still selling in the low 300's. OK, to be honest you need to have a bit of imagination to see the potential here, but honestly that car port alone has got me weak in the knees.

As much as I love looking at modern Luxury properties the lack of affordable housing in Austin stresses me out. While $400k is still a good chunk of change, this Wooten mid century modern house sitting on almost 1/4 acre is looking like a killer deal. The recent remodel looks nice as well (except for that kitchen backsplash) so it's pretty much move in ready.

White houses are a trend that's here to stay, and so are duplexes, especially in East Austin. This house manages to combine the two in a tasteful way. Remember when 12th and Chicon used to be a bit of a sketchy area? Times are changing people, go get a beer at the King Bee and Bill Hankey will tell you all about it.

There were so many good houses that came on the market over the weekend I almost don't know where to start today. I'll stick with this Crestview home just because we don't see a lot of new construction in that area. This is a duplex (detached) so there is a bit in savings because of that. If you can see past the not so great staging it's really a pretty great space. I'm really liking the brise soleil on the front of the building too. It adds a nice bit of texture to the otherwise sparse form of the modern farmhouse.
