This is a pretty amazing remodel of a 1970's home. The remodel included a down to the studs approach and nearly doubled the size. While some of the interior finishes are a bit traditional for my taste, I am happy to see more and more light colored floors. All those dark wood floors were really starting to bum me out...

These cedar clad shed roofed homes were definitely a trend though, especially in more secluded settings. The cladding is equal parts brutal and softening and I've always loved the look of them.
