Ok, two things here. First off hats off to Moore Tate for being one of the first to do the modern farmhouse in Austin. This 2012 version is just as fresh and relevant as their first, which to me is always the ultimate test of a modern home. Second, this house comes with a private membership to the pool and bar at Hotel St Cecilia. I had no idea that was even an option. Clearly I've been living my life all wrong. Mind. Blown.

This house is the quintessential Austin designed house. It started as a mid century bungalow but through an extensive remodel, and a lot of Austin inspired design, it's now your own personal paradise. As good as the interior is though (and it's really great) it's that back yard that's got me weak in the knees. It reminds me of Hotel St Cecila which is about the highest compliment I can pay it.

I walked through this house a month ago when I had a client that was interested in it. I kept it on the down low so it didn't get scooped up, but when we moved on I forgot about it. That is until today, when a $20k price cut caught my eye. While this one does need a little help (especially taming the yard) at that price point it's got loads of potential.
