1308 Old 19th #2

In 2018 the #1 unit in this project was for sale. I just re-read my commentary and I’m not sure I could improve on it. “I've been lucky enough to have been in a number of Alterstudio designed houses over the years and they all have an unmistakable style to them. I think restrained elegance may be the best way to put it, they are amazing spaces without feeling like they are trying to be anything special. This place has that feeling in spades.” Not sure if the sellers or their agent don’t know what they have, but this is a steal at this price.

There was a flood of good houses today, but this one stole my heart. Not a lot of information about the home’s past other than the fact that it was built in 1960. I’m sure if those terrazzo floors or wood paneling could talk though that they would have some stories to tell. Hope someone with a big heart (and wallet) picks this one up.

5300 Turnabout

This quirky little feller was for sale a few years ago, but it never did find it’s new caretaker. I love how simple and unobtrusive it is from the street, and how goofy it gets inside. It’s a great price, and would likely make a fantastic restoration for the right person. Any takers?

I love looking at modern homes that are more than 10 years old. It’s a great way to see how well the design is holding up. This one just crossed the 12 year mark and I’d say it’s holding up well. The mosaic tile in the bathroom is very 2007 modern but I have to admit I secretly like it still.
