2814 Oak Springs #B

I've been watching three modern homes pop up along side a small old stone cottage on Oak Springs Rd for almost a year now. The most surprising thing about the project is that when it started I considered it pretty deep east Austin, but with the rolling stone of gentrification heading east, this actually seems like a decent location now. Heck, there's even a a craft liquor and barware store a few block east of this. There are multiple homes for sale on this lot, contact me for more info. Here's the details of the one pictured.

Price: $319,000

2811 E 4th

I've been following this one from day one, I'm glad to see it finally finished and looking great. I'm always a fan of Tornbjerg's work and this is no exception. Based on the location, this may be my favorite one yet. Besides long standing favorites of mine like Justine's, this house is also close to the new Lustre PearlSawyer and co and many other new hangouts. I predict this area of East Austin is going to see a lot of changes in the near future.

Price: $649,000

Details: 2,250 sq/ft, 4 Bed, 3 Bath

1111 11th #300

This is a super rare opportunity to own one of two residences in the the Bercy Chen designed 1111 building. The lower two levels consist of Bercy Chens office and some great shops (Charm School Vintage and Take Heart) but most people don't know there are two condos on the top floor. The space is amazing, particularly the expansive decks with some breath taking views.

There's a lot to love about this east Austin modern infill. The space is bright and full of light, and looks amazing with all the color added into the space through art and furnishings. Also, if this particular one is a bit too big (or expensive) don't worry. It comes in two sizes (and prices). Here's the details for the bigger one.

Price: $525,000

Saltillo Lofts : #218

Despite the huge number of new condo's and town houses for sale in East Austin, unfortunately not a lot of them are really that great. There is a short list of ones I actually really to like, and Saltillo Lofts is on that list. While I'm not a huge fan of the exterior, the interior floor plans are interesting, have a nice finish out and have some really interesting spaces. The location is tough to beat too. You don't see these come up for sale very often, so if you are looking for a 1 bedroom on the east side, act quick.

Price: $330,000

This is a great house, but what I really love about it is the location. It's pretty much one of my favorite spots in the city. Walking distance to both the lake and all the east side goodies. The fact that it's a cool house is just icing on the cake.

Price: $539,000
