1503 Ridgecrest

Well hello there 1970's, you are looking good. Obviously this beautiful home has seen some updates over the years, but it is amazing how good the original architecture blends with the updates. Main house + pool and casita is the perfect combo, and the accompanying view that comes with this one is amazing.

Encinas Rojas : Charles Harker

This house is truly a one of a kind. The Bloomhouse (I've also heard it called the mushroom house) was designed and built by Charles Harker in 1980. There is a fascinating little write up and in progress photos during construction of the house on ecoredux.com. The organic style of the house is somewhat similar to the work of Austin architect John Watson. It's really pretty amazing that we have as many unique houses as we do in Austin. This one is worth the purchase price just in land value. Hopefully the buyer continues to maintain and love this unicorn.

Price: $695,000

4830 Timberline

The luxury market has been hit pretty hard lately with all the political uncertainty. This house is a great example of that. It was originally listed for $2,350,000 in March of this year. After many price reductions it now has an asking price of $1,888,000. That's almost a half a million dollar reduction. Ouch. On the bright side, nows a good time to buy a luxury home!

1200 Westlake

This 1950's mid century modern home in Westlake got me like whoa. Not only does it include two houses, but a pool and over 3 acres of land. The house does look like it needs a little bit of work, but thanks to lots of terrazzo and stone it looks to have held up quite well over the years. Anyone have any idea on the architect on this one?

Details: 4,091 sq. ft.  4 Bed, 3 Bath (combined)
