Before I get into this house, how about a brief tangent. Why don't you see more Eames compact sofa's in the wild? It looks so good in this house, as do all the other fantastic pieces of furniture throughout the home. It's not just good interior design at work here though folks. The architecture is solid as well. When you are talking about luxury properties there is a certain attention to details that you expect. Unfortunately many don't deliver. This one does. Let me point out just a few of my favorites. First, linear diffusers for the heat / AC vents on the ceiling. They look so much better than the standard ones. Second, marble counter tops and back splashes. Love it. Personally I would have liked to see the refrigerator and dishwasher matched to the cabinetry, but I am a bit of a kitchen snob.
