Even though Sett Studio is based on the east side, most of their projects aren't over here any more. They were smart to jump on this project though. It's pretty much my favorite spot in east Austin. The Matt Fajkus designed duplex doesn't disappoint either.

While the architecture still isn't as good as an architect designed house they do have a lot of value. I was sad to see the little houses on this stretch of 6th go, but this once undesirable location is now about as good as it gets.

There is just something about crossing that Cesar Chavez corridor that makes if feel more secluded, and the huge influx of restaurants and bars in the area is pretty handy too. Being close to the ladybird lake trail is just icing on the cake. All of that is to say, this house is in a good spot. :)
