I like this listing for a few reasons. First, this is not the first "modern" home in the 1,700 sq/ft range to list in the $650k+ range. While this is a crazy price, it seems the market is supporting it, which bodes well for my new build next summer. Last week before it hit the market, I had the chance to walk through this house designed and built by Austin based Minguell-McQuary. I was pleasantly impressed. It's so rare to see a house on the east side that is this well detailed architecturally. It's the little things, baseboard details, metalwork etc that really make this place. I just walked through this home, and I'm 90% sure it was designed by Emily Little. The floor plan is almost identical to the Emily Little designed Agave home I sold earlier this year. Like that home, this one has some lovely airy public spaces, but add to that an amazing location.
