Eames Lounge (670) and Ottoman (671)

Easily one of my favorite pieces of furniture of all time, the Eames Lounge Chair was originally released in 1956 after years of development by Herman Miller. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames the chair was the first designed for the high end market. It used many of the design characteristics that were first seen in their LCW chair such as the bent plywood shell and rubber mounts that allow the separate components to flex. To me it embodies classic mid century design.
