I'm back, and I've got a sleeper with an interesting back story to share. This is one of those houses that I suspect is better in real life than it is in the photos. It was designed in 1979 by Chartier Newton, an Austin based architect that practiced briefly with Arthur Fehr in the 70's after Charles Granger's untimely death. Like Charles Granger he also studied at Cranbrook Academy of Art and worked for Eero Saarinen for a time. This house has a fantastic private outdoor courtyard which the house wraps around. It's seen some updates (for good or bad) and now it just needs a little interior design love.
